The People's
Float Center

Fair pricing. No pressure. A space that listens instead of sells. Float Boston exists to serve the community around it — a reset button for anyone who needs one.

The moments that
stayed with me

I spent seven years in the massage chair industry. The moments that stayed with me were never about sales.

They were about people.

A woman who wanted to give her husband — in the late stages of dementia — one last good year.

A young man with cerebral palsy whose pain eased for the first time in years.

A man who hadn't walked without pain in over twenty years — who stood up and walked away without his cane.

Making a living for yourself is important. Making someone else's day — sometimes their life — is something else entirely.

Why Float Boston
exists

When I took over Float Boston, my goal was to create something special. Not just a float center. Not just a place to make a living.

But a place where the community felt welcome — no matter who they were or what they looked like.

As I spent more time here, talking with the people who walked through the door, it became clear that Float Boston wasn't just about floating. It was about stress. Burnout. Creativity. Pain. Sleep. And simply having a place to breathe.

Teachers. Artists. Parents. Small business owners. First-timers and longtime floaters alike. Everyone needed the same thing: something real, affordable, and human.

Float Boston exists to serve the people around it — to be a reset button for anyone who needs one, not a luxury reserved for a select few.

Pricing should feel fair, not confusing

You should understand what you're paying for without doing math or feeling pressured. Clear options and honest pricing let you focus on feeling better, not upsells.

No one should feel judged walking through our doors

There's no right way to look, float, or unwind. Whether it's your first time or your hundredth, you're welcome exactly as you are.

Small details matter more than flashy promises

Clean rooms, thoughtful touches, and consistency beat big claims every time. How a place feels matters more than how it markets itself.

You're burned out and don't know where else to turn

When everything feels loud and heavy, sometimes you just need the noise to stop. Floating gives your nervous system a break when willpower doesn't work anymore.

You need relief, clarity, or quiet more than hype

No buzzwords, no trends, no promises we can't keep. Just a simple, proven way to reset your body and mind.

You just want a place that feels human

A place where you're treated like a person, not a transaction. Where listening matters, pressure doesn't, and you're welcome exactly as you are.

Sound familiar?

The one
on the left.

I grew up in Seattle with my little sister in a single-parent household. Our home was full of love, but not much else. I was emancipated at 16, and when my mother passed away at 18, I took my sister in — despite the fact that the only job I could land at the time was managing fast food. It wasn't glamorous, but it was necessary, and we made it work.

My 20s and early 30s were rough. A lot of burnout and feeling stuck. Then came my catalyst: I got fired. In hindsight, it was exactly what I needed.

What followed was a full-blown self-improvement binge. I found my calling in sales — specifically trade shows. Top rep at Vitamix, then the massage chair world, going from top rep to direct sales manager in four years. 14 years, 49 states, and more of the world than I ever imagined.

In the fall of 2024 I quit the job I probably could have retired from and went all in on Float Boston. I watched how it helped people, brought the community together, and changed how they felt walking out the door. So I kept going. I'm incredibly glad I did — and I can't wait to meet you.

More ways we can
work together

Besides everything you see inside Float Boston, we do a lot more outside. Corporate wellness programs, group bookings, mobile cryotherapy, full facility rentals, and a barter program for services we need.

Happy employees

Anyone who runs a business knows the math — retention beats recruiting every time. We design wellness programs for companies large and small to boost happiness, productivity, and reduce turnover. Every company is different, so let's talk about what works for yours.

Services we'll trade
floats for

We're looking for individuals who want to trade their services for floats or cryotherapy. Here's what we need — but if your skill isn't on this list and you think it's a fit, reach out anyway. We're open.

Tank room tiling

Looking to get tiling on the sides of both Summer Sky tanks. Currently one room has fake wood, the other is almost bare. Also looking to replace curtain-covered filters with doors and/or shelving.

Photography & video

Need a photographer/videographer for cryotherapy sessions, float walkthroughs, and a social media presence boost. Influencers welcome — if you can help us grow our reach, let's talk.

Plumbing

Since removing the 4th tank, would love to remove the shower attachment, handle, and hose attachment in The Haven to clean up the space.

Arts, design & logo

Looking for a new Float Boston logo, float-inspired art to hang and sell in the space, and window art that could be a permanent feature. If you're a designer or artist, we'd love to see your work.

Have skills to trade? Email or fill out the contact form below.
