Masking Update

Somerville has decided to lift its mask mandate effective Saturday, March 5th, but we will continue to require masks for the time being. We’re a health care business and a cozy space, and it’s honestly just the best thing to do for our team’s safety and your health. One day this will change, but not March 5th.

We’re continuing to watch CovidActNow and Biobot wastewater data. The numbers are definitely going in the right direction! We have been here before, though: last summer we ditched masks for about two seconds before the City had to turn around and reinstate masking again. We always want to err on the side of caution, so we’re going to continue with our current rules for just a little while longer.

Here’s a previous post that details our approach, and our Covid-19 safety plan. Thank you for bearing with us as we continue to evaluate the situation.
